King James VI Lecture 2017
To commemorate the 450th Anniversary of the Coronation of King James VI in Holy Rude in 1567, the annual King James VI lecture will be held in the Holy Rude Church on the 29th July at 7:30pm.
Dr Steven Reid, Senior lecturer in Scottish History at the University of Glasgow, will deliver a lecture entitled “From Bairn to Bearded Man, the political apprenticeship of James IV 1578-1587”.
Entry is by donation with the proceeds going to the Organ Repair Fund. All Guild Brothers and family members are invited.
