The Annual Court of Deans of Guild
On Thursday 26th April the Dean and the Clerk attended the Annual Court of Deans of Guild, Scotland. This was held in the Conservatory at Belleisle Ayr. After a Brief talk on the Conservatory and its plans for the future, the AGM was held, this was followed by a Civic Reception hosted by the Provost of South Ayrshire. A tour of Robert Burns birthplace and then a visit to the Burns National Heritage Park.
Following some free time and a quick change we attended the formal dinner in the Brig O’Doon Hotel. During which, our Dean was installed as Lord President of the Court of Deans for the ensuing year.
